A leading Snacks and Condiments manufacturing Industry in Dubai is looking for a Food QA Officer to join its quality team. Job Responsibilities
As a Food QA Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining product quality and ensuring compliance with food safety standards:
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Implement and maintain food safety and quality management systems in line with HACCP, ISO 22000, and FSSC standards
- Ensure full compliance with local regulatory requirements and international food safety standards
- Monitor GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and hygiene standards across the facility
Inspection & Audits
- Conduct regular internal audits, inspections, and quality checks across production, storage, and distribution processes
- Coordinate and support external audits (Dubai Municipality, certification bodies, and clients)
- Identify non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of quality checks, inspections, and audit reports
- Update and control SOPs, HACCP plans, and quality documentation
- Prepare reports on quality performance and improvement areas
Continuous Improvement
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency
- Work closely with production and operations teams to resolve quality-related issues
- Conduct training sessions on food safety, hygiene, and quality standards for staff
Job Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in a Food Quality Assurance or Food Safety role, preferably in the condiments or food manufacturing industry Strong knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP principles, and quality management systems Mandatory certifications:
- Food Safety Level 4
- HACCP Level 4
- Person in Charge (PIC) Level 3
Additional certifications such as FSSC 22000, BRCGS, or ISO 22000:2018 will be a strong advantage. Good understanding of Dubai Municipality food safety regulations. Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
