Quality Controller – FMCG oppurtunity in Dubai to ensure that all fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) products meet company quality standards, food safety regulations, and UAE compliance requirements.
The Quality Controller will be responsible for monitoring production processes, conducting quality inspections, performing laboratory tests, and maintaining accurate documentation to ensure product safety, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
This role plays a critical part in maintaining product integrity, customer satisfaction, and adherence to food safety management systems in the FMCG manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities
Food Quality Inspection & Testing
- Conduct detailed quality checks on raw materials, in-process production, and finished FMCG products.
- Perform routine sampling, physical inspections, and basic laboratory testing as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Verify product specifications including weight, texture, color, packaging, and Food labeling compliance.
Food Production Monitoring
- Monitor daily production activities to ensure compliance with internal quality standards and food safety policies.
- Ensure all critical control points (CCPs) are effectively monitored as per HACCP plans.
- Identify deviations, non-conformities, and quality risks during production.
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain accurate quality control records, inspection reports, batch records, and test results.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, and UAE food safety regulations.
- Assist in preparing documentation for internal audits, external audits, and regulatory inspections.
Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA)
- Report quality issues and deviations to the Production Manager or QA Manager.
- Coordinate with the production team to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor effectiveness of corrective measures to prevent recurrence of quality issues.

Hygiene & GMP Monitoring
- Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and hygiene standards are strictly followed within the facility.
- Monitor staff hygiene, sanitation procedures, and cleaning schedules.
Packaging Control
- Verify product shelf-life compliance and storage conditions.
- Ensure labeling accuracy including ingredients, expiry date, batch coding, and regulatory information.
- Inspect packaging integrity to prevent contamination or damage.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in FMCG or food manufacturing quality control in UAE or GCC.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, and food safety standards.
- Understanding of quality control documentation and inspection procedures.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
