Hiring a QA Trainee to join a Food Quality Assurance team of a leading Airlines Catering Operations in Tamil Nadu, India This is an excellent opportunity for fresh post-graduates who are looking to start their career in food quality, microbiology, and food safety management systems.
Job Responsibilities – QA Trainee
- Assist the Quality Assurance team in implementing and monitoring food safety and quality standards.
- Support routine quality checks for raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Conduct basic microbiological analysis and assist in sample preparation and testing.
- Maintain quality records, logs, and documentation as per company SOPs.
- Assist in GMP, GHP, and hygiene audits within the production facility.
- Support compliance with HACCP, FSSAI, ISO 22000, and internal quality procedures.
- Monitor sanitation, cleaning, and hygiene practices in production and storage areas.
- Report quality deviations, non-conformances, and assist in corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure product quality and food safety compliance.
- Participate in training programs related to food quality, microbiology, and safety systems.
Job Qualifications
- Educational Qualification (Mandatory):
- MSc Microbiology
- MSc Food Technology
- MSc Food Science & Nutrition
- Experience:
- Freshers are encouraged to apply
- Internship or academic exposure to food quality or microbiology will be an added advantage.
- Technical Knowledge (Preferred):
- Basic understanding of HACCP, GMP, GHP, and food safety regulations
- Knowledge of microbiological testing and food quality parameters
- Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work in a production/plant environment
- Good documentation and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn
