Pharmacy Quality Control UAE

Pharmacy Quality Control (QC) professional wanted at a leading Biopharmacy Manufacturing Company in the UAE to ensure the quality, safety, and compliance of pharmaceutical products in accordance with cGMP, GLP, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing analytical testing, maintaining laboratory compliance, supporting audits, and ensuring data integrity within a pharmaceutical quality control laboratory.

Job Responsibilities

Quality Control & Laboratory Analysis

• Perform chemical and physical analysis of Raw Materials (RM), Finished Products (FP), and Stability samples as per approved specifications.
• Execute process validation and method validation activities in compliance with pharmacopeial standards.
• Develop and implement analytical methods using HPLC and GC based on approved Standard Test Methods (STM) and pharmacopeia guidelines.
• Ensure accurate processing, review, and approval of analytical data, including audit trail verification for laboratory instruments.
• Verify that all final products meet regulatory specifications and quality standards before release.

Equipment Handling & Compliance

• Operate and maintain various Quality Control laboratory instruments, including HPLC, GC, and other analytical equipment.
• Ensure strict adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and safety procedures.
• Maintain clean, hygienic, and compliant laboratory conditions at all times.

Documentation & Data Management

• Record, review, and maintain accurate laboratory data and test results in compliance with data integrity principles.
• Perform data entry, verification, and result locking in SAP systems.
• Create notifications and manage inventory reservations for chemicals, reagents, and consumables.
• Ensure compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) in all QC activities.

Quality Systems & Compliance Management

• Investigate laboratory incidents, deviations, OOS (Out of Specification), and OOT (Out of Trend) results.
• Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues effectively.
• Manage and close Quality Management System (QMS) activities, including deviations, change controls, CAPA, and audit management using systems like Amplelogic.
• Review and approve protocols and reports for:
  • Method Validation & Transfer
  • Process Validation
  • Stability Studies

Training & Team Support

• Train and mentor newly joined uae QC staff and analysts on laboratory procedures, testing methods, and compliance requirements.
• Qualify analysts to perform independent QC testing as per approved procedures.
• Support supervisors and assist in daily laboratory operations and troubleshooting activities.

Audit & Regulatory Support

• Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring readiness and compliance.
• Address and close audit observations within defined timelines.
• Ensure continuous compliance with UAE pharmaceutical regulations and international standards.

Pharmacist

• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical quality control systems and regulatory requirements

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or related Life Sciences field
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical QC laboratory
• Hands-on experience with:
  • HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography)
  • GC (Gas Chromatography)
• Strong understanding of:
  • cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices)
  • GLP (Good Laboratory Practices)
  • Pharmacopoeia standards (USP, BP, EP)
• Proficiency in SAP and laboratory data management systems
• Good knowledge of laboratory safety and compliance procedures
