The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining product quality, ensuring food safety compliance, supporting documentation systems, and assisting with daily warehouse and operational quality activities.
The QA Officer will support the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of food safety and quality management systems across daily operations. The role focuses heavily on:

Job Responsibilities
Food Safety & Quality Assurance Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing, maintaining, and improving the FSSC 22000 Food Safety Management System
- Support HACCP plan implementation, monitoring, and verification activities
- Monitor product quality during receiving, storage, ripening, packing, and dispatch operations
- Conduct routine inspections of incoming and outgoing fresh produce shipments
- Verify compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards throughout operations
- Ensure proper handling and storage practices are consistently followed
- Monitor temperature control procedures for cold storage and transportation activities
- Identify and report product quality deviations, damaged goods, and operational non-conformities
- Assist in investigating customer complaints, food safety incidents, and quality-related issues
- Monitor daily wastage reports and support corrective action implementation
- Ensure GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and hygiene procedures are followed by operational staff
- Support traceability and product recall readiness procedures when required
Documentation & SOP Management
- Develop, review, update, and organize SOPs, work instructions, quality forms, and operational checklists
- Maintain accurate QA/QC documentation and food safety records
- Ensure all quality assurance and HSE documents are properly controlled and updated
- Organize records related to inspections, audits, certifications, and compliance activities
- Support internal audits and preparation for external FSSC 22000 certification audits
- Ensure all records are easily accessible and maintained according to company procedures
- Assist in preparing corrective action reports and audit findings documentation
- Maintain calibration and monitoring records for quality-related equipment
HSE & Regulatory Compliance Support
- Support implementation of workplace hygiene, sanitation, and occupational health & safety procedures
- Maintain HSE documentation and employee compliance records
- Assist in ensuring compliance with UAE food safety regulations and municipality requirements
- Monitor operational hygiene practices within warehouse and handling areas
- Coordinate food safety and hygiene training records for staff members
- Support management during inspections conducted by regulatory authorities
- Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions for compliance gaps
Warehouse & Operations Support
- Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to maintain product quality standards
- Monitor storage conditions, cleanliness, pest control, and operational hygiene
- Support FIFO/FEFO stock rotation and shelf-life management practices
- Assist in monitoring loading and unloading operations to prevent product damage
- Verify cleanliness and sanitation standards across operational areas
- Conduct routine operational inspections to ensure compliance with company procedures
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to food safety and quality performance
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in:
- Food Science
- Food Technology
- Microbiology
- Quality Assurance
- Nutrition
- Biotechnology
- Or related disciplines
- 1–3 years of experience in:
- QA/QC
- Food Safety
- Quality Assurance
- Food Distribution

Experience in fresh produce handling or food distribution environments will be highly preferred.
