Hiring a Technical Quality Controller for a leading honey manufacturing and FMCG production facility in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. This role is designed for professionals who go beyond standard inspection tasks and actively contribute to process optimisation, machinery efficiency, and food safety compliance.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in automated production systems, filling and packaging operations, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality deviations at the source. This position plays a critical role in ensuring consistent product quality, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor and control product quality across all stages of honey processing, filling, and repackaging operations
- Perform real-time inspections on FMCG machinery, including filling lines, capping systems, sealing units, and labeling equipment
- Detect and address process deviations, contamination risks, and mechanical inefficiencies during production
- Ensure strict implementation of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards throughout the manufacturing process
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for product defects, non-conformities, and process failures, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to enhance machine performance and reduce downtime.
- Maintain compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and hazard control procedures in line with food safety regulations.
- Prepare and maintain quality control documentation, batch records, and audit reports.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring full regulatory compliance and audit readiness.
- Train machine operators and production staff on quality standards, GMP practices, and proper equipment handling.
- Continuously monitor production data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in FMCG quality control, preferably in honey processing, food manufacturing, or packaging industries
- Strong understanding of automated and semi-automated production systems
- Hands-on experience with filling lines, capping machines, sealing systems, and packaging workflows
- In-depth knowledge of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and food safety standards
- Proven ability to manage quality inspections, audits, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Experience in data analysis, process monitoring, and quality improvement initiatives.
