A nutraceutical manufacturing company in Jebel Ali, Dubai, is looking for a Food Technologist to support the development, processing, testing, and quality control of dietary supplement products.The role involves working with powder-based supplements such as whey protein and creatine, as well as capsule products including vitamins, Omega oils, and similar formulations. The successful candidate will support product formulation and manufacturing processes while ensuring that raw materials and finished products meet established quality and safety requirements.

Job Responsibilities
- Support the formulation and processing of nutraceutical and dietary supplement products.
- Monitor powder characteristics including mixing, flowability, homogeneity, stability, and mixability.
- Support capsule manufacturing and ensure appropriate filling and processing parameters.
- Conduct quality checks on incoming raw materials and finished products.
- Perform or coordinate testing for potency, moisture, appearance, mixability, and basic microbiological parameters.
- Evaluate raw materials such as proteins, creatine, vitamins, minerals, oils, and other supplement ingredients.
- Maintain laboratory records, batch documentation, test reports, and quality control records.
- Support batch review and release activities in accordance with established specifications.
- Follow GMP, hygiene, food safety, and quality control procedures throughout manufacturing and testing.
- Assist with troubleshooting of product, processing, and quality issues.
- Ensure laboratory equipment and testing procedures are maintained according to company requirements.
- Support continuous improvement of manufacturing and quality processes.
Qualifications – Food Technologist
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Previous experience in nutraceutical, dietary supplement, food, pharmaceutical, or similar manufacturing is preferred.
- Good understanding of protein powders, creatine, vitamins, oils, capsules, and other dietary supplement products.
- Knowledge of powder handling, blending, flow properties, stability, and capsule filling processes.
- Familiarity with routine quality testing, including moisture, appearance, potency, mixability, and basic microbiological testing.
- Good understanding of GMP and quality documentation.
- Ability to maintain accurate laboratory and production records.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Candidates must be willing to work in Dubai, UAE.
