Executive – Product Development (Beverages – R&D) to join a Research & Development team in Benagluru, Karnataka with a leading Consumer Products Manufacturing Company in India. This is an exciting opportunity for food technologists, beverage scientists, and R&D professionals with expertise in Energy Drinks, Carbonated Soft Drinks (CSD), Juices, Functional Beverages, and Product Commercialization.

Job Responsibilities
- Develop, formulate, and optimize innovative beverage products across multiple categories, including Energy Drinks, Carbonated Soft Drinks (CSD), Juices, Functional Beverages, and value-added beverages.
- Design and conduct laboratory-scale and pilot-scale trials to validate formulations and manufacturing processes.
- Lead product development projects from concept through commercialization while ensuring technical feasibility and production readiness.
- Optimize formulations for taste, texture, stability, functionality, cost efficiency, and manufacturing scalability.
- Conduct shelf-life studies, stability testing, sensory evaluation, and consumer acceptance trials.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, formulation records, specifications, SOPs, and development reports.

- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, labeling requirements, and applicable national and international food standards.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Quality Assurance, Procurement, Marketing, Packaging, and Supply Chain teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Evaluate and validate new ingredients, flavors, sweeteners, functional ingredients, and processing technologies.
- Coordinate with ingredient suppliers and external partners to identify innovative raw materials and technical solutions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, cost optimization projects, and product reformulation activities.
- Stay updated with emerging beverage trends, consumer preferences, ingredient innovations, and regulatory developments.
Job Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.
- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in Beverage Research & Development (R&D) or Product Development.
- Strong expertise in beverage formulation, process development, product commercialization, and scale-up.
- Sound knowledge of food regulations, quality systems, food safety standards, and technical documentation.
- Experience with shelf-life studies, sensory evaluation, product stability, and ingredient functionality.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Passion for innovation and developing consumer-centric beverage products.
