Quality Supervisor to join a leading Bakery Food manufacturing company in Dubai. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in food quality assurance, food safety, customer complaint management, regulatory compliance, and quality systems. Candidates with experience in the bakery or food manufacturing industry will be given preference.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing quality assurance activities, managing customer complaints, coordinating corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting new product development, and maintaining the highest food safety and quality standards throughout production.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end customer complaint handling process by registering complaints, assigning investigations, obtaining Customer Complaint Investigation Reports (CCIRs) from the Quality Assurance team, and communicating responses to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Production, Supply Chain, Sales, and Retail teams to implement, monitor, and close corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date customer complaint tracker and ensure timely follow-up on all quality-related issues.
- Collaborate with Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) customers to organize external and internal product cutting sessions, ensuring consistency in product quality, appearance, and performance.
- Work closely with Supply Chain and Retail teams to verify returned products, investigate quality concerns, and implement appropriate control measures.
- Support new product development (NPD) by coordinating product trials, sample preparation, customer evaluations, and product approval processes.
- Conduct site visits to production facilities, distribution depots, retail outlets, and customer locations to investigate product complaints and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Regulatory Affairs teams during SFDA, Municipality (Baladiya), and other regulatory inspections related to food safety and quality assurance.
- Prepare and submit product registrations through SFDA and other export regulatory portals.
- Review, verify, and approve product labels, packaging artworks, and technical information prepared by the laboratory and regulatory teams.
- Ensure finished product specifications comply with company quality standards and regulatory requirements.

- Deliver quality assurance, food safety, and finished goods specification training programs for production employees, including conducting training sessions in Arabic where required.
- Monitor compliance with GMP, GHP, HACCP, food safety management systems, and company quality policies.
- Participate in internal audits, customer audits, supplier evaluations, and regulatory inspections.
- Prepare quality reports, investigation findings, trend analyses, and management presentations.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve product quality, manufacturing processes, and customer satisfaction.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2–4 years of supervisory experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within the food manufacturing industry.
- Previous experience in the bakery or baked goods manufacturing sector is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality management systems.
- Experience handling customer complaints, CAPA, product investigations, and quality documentation.
- Familiarity with product registration processes and food regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external customers.
- Good report writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and quality documentation systems.
- Arabic language skills are an advantage, especially for conducting production training.
