Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable FSSAI regulations, catering guidelines, and food safety standards.
  • Implement, monitor, and continuously improve HACCP-based Food Safety Management Systems across multiple outlets.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Hygiene Practices (GHP).
  • Conduct routine food safety, hygiene, quality, and compliance audits at QSR and cloud kitchen outlets.
  • Perform inventory audits by reviewing inventory records, stock movement, and identifying discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with outlet teams to investigate inventory variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints related to food quality and food safety in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support the implementation, documentation, and maintenance of ISO 22000 Food Safety Management Systems.
  • Monitor daily operational hygiene and ensure food handling practices meet company and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare, maintain, and update audit reports, inspection records, corrective action plans (CAPA), and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate and monitor pest control programs to ensure effective pest management across all facilities.
  • Work closely with operations, production, procurement, warehouse, and store teams to maintain compliance.
  • Conduct internal inspections and recommend process improvements to enhance food safety and operational efficiency.
  • Provide food safety guidance and training to outlet staff whenever required.
  • Follow up on corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely closure of audit findings.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at strengthening food safety culture across all locations.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Nutrition, Dairy Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Additional certifications in HACCP, ISO 22000, Internal Auditor, or Food Safety Management Systems will be an advantage.
  • 3–4 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance, Food Safety, Compliance, or Inventory Auditing.
    • Experience in Quick Service Restaurants (QSR), Cloud Kitchens, Food Delivery Kitchens, Catering, or Food Manufacturing is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience conducting food safety inspections and internal audits.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of FSSAI regulations and food safety compliance.
  • Working knowledge of HACCP principles.
  • Experience with ISO 22000 Food Safety Management Systems.
  • Understanding of GMP, GHP, sanitation, and hygiene management.
  • Experience in inventory auditing and stock verification.
  • Knowledge of pest control management practices.
  • Excellent documentation and report-writing skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams across multiple outlets.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and audit documentation.
