Hiring a Food Quality Officer in Dubai for a leading Food processing -FMCG food manufacturing company. This role is critical in ensuring the implementation of food safety standards, quality assurance protocols, and regulatory compliance across production and processing areas.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in HACCP, GMP, food quality control, and food safety management systems, with the ability to monitor, inspect, and improve product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Job Responsibilities
Quality & Food Safety Operations
- Perform daily HACCP monitoring and verification checks to ensure strict compliance with food safety plans.
- Conduct raw material inspections, supplier verification, and quality checks before production use.
- Monitor food processing activities to ensure adherence to established quality standards and SOPs.
- Carry out product sampling, laboratory analysis, and sensory evaluation to maintain product consistency.
- Verify product formulations, ingredient specifications, and batch records for accuracy.
- Ensure proper product identification, labeling, coding, and traceability systems are maintained.
- Monitor and control storage conditions, including temperature and hygiene compliance.
Quality Control & Compliance
- Execute hold and release procedures in coordination with production and department heads.
- Identify, document, and manage non-conforming products (NCRs) and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate quality control documentation, reports, and audit-ready records.
- Ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), GHP (Good Hygiene Practices), and food safety regulations.
- Conduct routine hygiene inspections and support internal and external food safety audits.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Monitoring, Verification & Sanitation Control
- Oversee cleaning and sanitation (CIP/SIP) processes to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Ensure proper sampling techniques, handling procedures, and documentation practices.
- Use, calibrate, and maintain quality measuring instruments such as thermometers, pH meters, and weighing scales.
- Monitor critical control points (CCPs) and ensure corrective actions are implemented when deviations occur.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Agricultural Sciences, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in food manufacturing or FMCG industry.
- Experience in meat processing or protein-based food production will be an added advantage.
