Apprentice Trainee / QC Trainee – Stores to support warehouse and store operations in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment Mumbai and Bengaluru The role involves receiving, storing, dispensing, and maintaining raw materials and packaging materials while ensuring compliance with cGMP, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000:2018, and company quality standards. Job Responsibilities
- Receive raw materials, packaging materials, and miscellaneous items as per approved purchase orders and vendor lists.
- Maintain store records and documentation in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 (QMS) and ISO 22000:2018 (FSMS) requirements.
- Ensure dispensing areas, equipment, and utensils are maintained according to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Plan and dispense raw materials according to Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and Material Issue Plans (MIP).

- Supervise dispensing operators and workmen to achieve efficient production output.
- Monitor and record temperature, relative humidity, and other environmental conditions in the dispensing area.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification of raw and packaging materials.
- Handle storage, bin allocation, and identification of newly received and approved materials.
- Affix loose labels to partially used containers or bags after dispensing.
- Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) department for timely material approval and vendor Certificate of Analysis (COA) collection.
- Verify material retest dates and coordinate with QC for sampling, testing, and re-approval.
- Ensure weighing balances are calibrated before starting dispensing activities.
- Perform additional store-related responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department.
Job Qualification
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following disciplines:
- B.Sc. Food Technology
- Biochemistry
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Life Sciences
- General Science
Preferred Skills
- Basic understanding of warehouse and inventory management.
- Knowledge of cGMP, GMP, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 standards.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work accurately with stock records and inventory.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Basic computer skills, including MS Office and inventory software.
- Fresh graduates looking to start a career in pharmaceutical manufacturing or warehouse operations.
- Candidates with internship or apprenticeship experience in manufacturing or quality systems will have an added advantage.
