Food Technology experienced professionals wanted at a leading Bakery Products Manufacturing in Ajman, UAE as Senior Quality Controller.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the entire Quality Control (QC) department and daily quality assurance operations.
- Ensure strict implementation of HACCP, GMP, GHP, ISO standards, food hygiene, and food safety systems throughout the production process.
- Monitor bakery production activities to maintain product quality, consistency, taste, texture, and shelf-life standards.
- Conduct regular quality inspections, factory audits, hygiene audits, and corrective/preventive action programs.
- Supervise raw material quality checks, in-process inspections, and finished product evaluations.
- Coordinate closely with production, operations, and senior management teams for continuous process improvement.
- Handle quality documentation, compliance records, SOPs, and regulatory requirements as per UAE food safety standards.
- Investigate customer complaints, non-conformance reports, and quality deviations while implementing corrective actions.
- Train, mentor, and guide junior QC staff and production employees on food safety and quality procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local UAE municipality regulations and international food safety standards.
- Support internal and external audits related to food safety certifications and quality management systems.
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in bakery quality control, food manufacturing quality assurance, or food safety management.
- Strong knowledge of bakery production processes, bakery ingredients, and food quality standards.
- Expertise in HACCP, GMP, GHP, ISO 22000, food hygiene, sanitation, and quality assurance systems.
- Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage pressure in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication, reporting, analytical, and documentation skills.
- UAE food industry experience will be highly advantageous.
