Food Safety Officer- Food Stuff Trading

Seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Food Safety Officer- Dubai UAE Location to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene in food production and distribution processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and the ability to implement and monitor effective safety procedures.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of food manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and distribution centers.
• Implement and enforce food safety protocols, including GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), and hygiene standards.
• Perform on-the-spot adulteration tests and safety audits on raw materials, packaging, and finished products.
• Provide training and awareness programs on food safety for all staff.

• Investigate and report food safety violations and work with management to implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with external authorities to ensure compliance with local food safety laws and regulations (including the UAE Food Law and International Standards).
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions taken.
• Support in crisis management during food recalls or contamination issues.

Job Qualifcations

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Safety, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Food Safety Officer in the food manufacturing or distribution industry.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, and ISO food safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
