Job Responsibilities
- Conduct microbiological analysis of water samples from industrial water treatment systems and commercial water purification processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Perform routine microbial tests, including bacterial counts, coliform testing, and Legionella detection, for water filtration companies.
- Develop and maintain microbiological monitoring programs for water maintenance and treatment operations.
- Identify microbial trends in treated water systems and recommend corrective measures to optimize water filtration efficiency.

- Support the design and implementation of disinfection protocols in industrial water treatment systems.
- Prepare detailed microbiological reports for internal stakeholders and external clients in the water purification sector.
- Ensure laboratory equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and operated in line with regulatory standards.
- Conduct research on advanced microbiological methods and technologies for improving commercial water purification systems.
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental guidelines in all laboratory and field activities.
- Provide training to junior staff on microbiological testing methods, best practices, and advancements in water maintenance technologies.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- At least 3 years of experience in microbiological analysis within water filtration companies or industrial water treatment systems.
- Expertise in microbiological testing techniques and regulatory standards for water maintenance and quality assurance.
- Knowledge of microbial contamination control in commercial water purification and treatment systems.
- Familiarity with waterborne pathogens and advanced treatment technologies for industrial water treatment systems.
- Proficiency in laboratory equipment, including autoclaves, incubators, and microscopes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills in the context of water purification.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills to convey findings to clients and team members in the water filtration industry.
- Knowledge of UAE regulatory standards for water maintenance and treatment compliance is advantageous.
- Certifications in microbiological testing, water filtration, or treatment systems are highly desirable.
