Health and Medical Laboratory Group in Dubai UAE is looking for a Research Assistant with the following:
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting research and laboratory experiments in biotechnology, molecular biology, and medical diagnostics.
- Perform advanced techniques such as PCR, RT-PCR, ELISA, Western blotting, flow cytometry, and cell culture.
- Support the development and validation of diagnostic tests, vaccines, or biopharmaceuticals.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret research data related to health and medical biotechnology.
- Prepare scientific reports, research papers, and presentations for internal and external use.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, ensure calibration, and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), biosafety regulations, and ethical research guidelines.
- Assist in clinical and biomedical research projects related to genetics, immunology, and microbiology.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical professionals and senior researchers.
- Stay updated with advancements in biotechnology, biomedical research, and laboratory techniques.
Job Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree MSc in Biotechnology, Medical Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
- Experience: 0-1 year of experience in a medical/biotechnology laboratory (internships or research projects preferred).
- Skills:
- Proficiency in molecular biology, immunology, and biotechnological techniques.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Strong data analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to document and report research findings accurately.
- Knowledge of biosafety regulations and ethical research practices.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols precisely.
