Associate Quality Technician to join a leading beverages and juice Industry in Al Ain, Quality Assurance and Laboratory team in Al Ain, UAE. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with laboratory experience in the food and beverage manufacturing industry who are passionate about food safety, quality assurance, and laboratory testing.
The successful candidate will support quality control operations by conducting laboratory analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products while ensuring compliance with company quality standards, HACCP, GMP, ISO requirements, and UAE food safety regulations.
Job Responsibilities
As an Associate Quality Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Perform routine laboratory testing on raw materials, packaging materials, in-process products, and finished beverages.
- Conduct chemical, microbiological, and physical analyses according to established testing procedures.
- Verify that products meet company specifications and regulatory quality standards.
- Accurately record laboratory results and maintain complete quality records.
- Use SAP to enter laboratory data, generate quality reports, and maintain traceable documentation.
- Maintain, clean, calibrate, and verify laboratory instruments and testing equipment.
- Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Support investigations into product quality deviations and assist in root cause analysis.
- Participate in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, ISO Food Safety Management Systems, and company quality procedures.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness and follow laboratory safety protocols.
- Assist production and quality assurance teams in resolving quality-related concerns.
- Participate in internal quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure laboratory chemicals and consumables are stored and handled safely.
- Follow all company health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Job Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in:
- Food Science
- Food Technology
- Microbiology
- Chemistry
- Biotechnology
- Or a related scientific discipline
- 1–2 years of laboratory or quality control experience, preferably within the food and beverage industry.
- Experience working in manufacturing laboratory environments.
- Proficiency in SAP for quality data entry, documentation, and reporting.
- Good understanding of food safety management systems.
- Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and quality control techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts when required.
