Preferred Candidates: Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period
The ideal candidate should have experience in fresh produce quality control, food safety management, and FMCG operations, with a strong understanding of UAE food safety regulations and customer quality requirements. Experience supporting the HORECA (Hotel, Restaurant, and Café) sector is highly preferred.
Candidates holding HACCP and Person-in-Charge (PIC) certifications are encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor the quality and food safety of fresh fruits and vegetables from receiving and inspection to storage, handling, and final dispatch.
- Conduct quality inspections of fresh produce to assess freshness, appearance, size, color, maturity, damage, and overall product condition.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, UAE food safety regulations, and customer specifications.
- Inspect incoming raw materials and fresh produce shipments to identify quality defects, contamination risks, spoilage, and non-conformities.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, operations, and distribution teams to maintain product quality throughout the supply chain.
- Implement quality control procedures to minimize product wastage, post-harvest losses, and customer complaints.
- Maintain quality inspection records, non-conformance reports, corrective action reports, and food safety documentation.
- Support internal audits, supplier quality assessments, and food safety compliance activities.
- Ensure proper hygiene, temperature control, storage conditions, and handling practices for fresh fruits and vegetables.
- Investigate quality-related complaints and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Promote food safety awareness and compliance with established quality management procedures.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in the FMCG or fresh produce industry.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in the UAE.
- HACCP certification is required.
- Person-in-Charge (PIC) certification is required.

- Knowledge of UAE food safety regulations, quality standards, and industry requirements.
- Experience working with HORECA customers, including hotels, restaurants, and cafés, is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software.
- Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
