Restaurant business in Ajman is looking for an Assistant Quality Controller HACCP to support food safety, quality control, and hygiene standards across its operations. The successful candidate will assist with quality inspections, monitor food handling and production processes, maintain quality documentation, and support compliance with HACCP and food safety requirements.

Job Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting quality inspections across food preparation, production, storage, and handling areas.
- Monitor food safety, hygiene, and quality control procedures in accordance with HACCP requirements.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of HACCP-based food safety procedures.
- Monitor production and food handling processes to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
- Check raw materials, ingredients, and finished products for quality and safety requirements.
- Maintain QC records, inspection reports, monitoring logs, and other quality-related documentation.
- Identify quality and food safety issues and report them to the Quality Controller or relevant management.

- Support regular hygiene inspections and ensure compliance with food safety practices.
- Assist in monitoring cleaning, sanitation, temperature control, and food storage procedures.
- Ensure food safety and quality concerns are communicated promptly to the relevant departments.
- Participate in internal quality audits, staff training, and food safety improvement activities as required.
Job Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in quality control, preferably in the food, restaurant, catering, or FMCG industry.
- Valid HACCP certification is required.
- Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, quality standards, and HACCP principles.
- Familiarity with food quality inspections, monitoring procedures, and QC documentation.
- Basic knowledge of corrective and preventive action procedures.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to maintain records and prepare reports.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced food production or restaurant environment.

Recommended Skills and Certifications
Candidates with the following additional knowledge or training may have an advantage:
- HACCP Level 3 or equivalent food safety training.
- Food safety and hygiene practices applicable to restaurants and food service operations.
- Knowledge of ISO 22000 or other food safety management systems.
- Familiarity with UAE food safety requirements and local authority inspection standards.
