A leading Bottled Water Manufacturing Company in Dubai is hiring a Quality Controller to ensure product quality, food safety compliance, and regulatory standards throughout the water production process. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in bottled drinking water manufacturing, laboratory testing, and food safety management systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring water quality, conducting laboratory analysis, maintaining HACCP documentation, ensuring sanitation standards, and supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze water treatment processes through chemical and microbiological testing.
- Perform routine laboratory analysis of raw water, treated water, and finished bottled water products.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, ESMA, Dubai Municipality (DM), and other applicable food safety regulations.
- Conduct regular food safety, hygiene, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) training for production staff.
- Monitor Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) systems, sanitation procedures, and hygiene schedules.
- Inspect production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain laboratory records, quality reports, calibration logs, and food safety documentation.
- Calibrate and verify laboratory equipment according to established procedures.
- Investigate quality deviations and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Support internal and external quality audits and regulatory inspections.
- Perform additional quality assurance duties as assigned by management.
Job QUalifications
Candidates should possess:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a bottled water manufacturing company.
- Knowledge of water treatment systems and bottled drinking water production.
- Experience in chemical and microbiological laboratory testing.
- Good understanding of HACCP, GMP, food safety management systems, and sanitation practices.
- Familiarity with ESMA and Dubai Municipality (DM) food safety requirements.
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and maintain high quality standards.
