The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical abilities, excellent attention to detail, and hands-on experience in quality assurance and food safety management within the hospitality or food service industry.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily food preparation, storage, handling, and service activities to ensure compliance with company quality standards and UAE food safety regulations
  • Conduct routine quality inspections across restaurant outlets, kitchens, storage areas, and food handling processes
  • Implement and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food hygiene procedures
  • Perform quality audits and operational assessments to identify non-conformities and improvement opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP principles, sanitation procedures, and food safety management systems
  • Investigate customer complaints related to food quality, hygiene, or service standards and recommend corrective actions.

  • Maintain accurate quality assurance records, inspection reports, audit findings, and compliance documentation
  • Collaborate with kitchen, operations, and restaurant management teams to improve product consistency and service quality
  • Monitor supplier quality standards and ensure raw materials meet company specifications

  • Ensure compliance with municipality regulations, health authority standards, and hospitality industry best practices
  • Participate in internal and external quality audits and support continuous improvement programs

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or Food Safety within restaurants, hospitality, catering, or food service operations
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, food hygiene standards, and quality management systems
  • Experience conducting quality audits and compliance inspections
  • Familiarity with UAE food safety regulations and hospitality industry standards
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple restaurant locations effectively
  • Proficiency in preparing quality reports and maintaining compliance documentation
  • Previous experience in restaurant chains or hospitality groups is highly preferred

Preferred Skills – Food Quality Controller

  • Knowledge of ISO food safety standards and quality management systems
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high operational standards
  • Ability to train and guide restaurant teams on quality and hygiene practices
  • Experience handling corrective and preventive action processes (CAPA)
