Jr. Executive – IPQC to join a Quality team of Food Ingredients and Spices Industry at their Ernakulam facility. This role is suitable for an early-career Food Technology professional who is interested in developing practical experience in In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), food quality, production monitoring, and food manufacturing quality systems.

The selected candidate will support routine quality checks during production, monitor compliance with established quality standards, maintain quality records, and work closely with production and quality teams to ensure consistent product quality.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct routine in-process quality checks (IPQC) during food production.
- Monitor production activities to ensure compliance with approved quality standards and specifications.
- Inspect raw materials, processing parameters, semi-finished products, and finished products as required.
- Perform and record routine quality checks accurately and on time.
- Verify critical quality parameters throughout the production process.
- Identify quality deviations, non-conformities, and process-related issues and report them to the concerned supervisor.
- Assist in investigating quality issues and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure proper documentation of inspection results, test records, and quality observations.
- Maintain accurate IPQC records and other quality-related documentation.
- Coordinate with Production and other relevant departments to resolve quality concerns.
- Support implementation of food safety, hygiene, GMP, and quality procedures within the production area.
- Ensure production areas and processes follow established hygiene and quality requirements.
- Assist in monitoring compliance with SOPs and work instructions.
- Support internal quality audits and routine inspections when required.
- Help maintain product quality and consistency throughout the manufacturing process.
- Follow company procedures related to food safety, quality control, personal hygiene, and workplace safety.
Job Qualifications
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Food Technology or a related Food Science discipline.
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in food manufacturing, quality control, or IPQC.
- Fresh graduates with relevant practical exposure may also be considered depending on the company’s requirements.
- Good understanding of basic food quality and food safety principles.
- Candidates with exposure to GMP, HACCP, quality documentation, and production processes will have an advantage.
