Halal Meat Products manufacturing company based in Dubai is looking for Quality control Assistant. Food Technologists who are fresh graduates and entry-level professionals who are passionate about food quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance.

As a QA/QC Assistant, you will support the Head of Compliance and Compliance Supervisor in ensuring that all raw materials, production processes, and finished products comply with food safety regulations, Halal standards, and company quality requirements. The role involves laboratory testing, production monitoring, quality inspections, documentation, and assisting with internal and external audits.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing and maintaining Quality Assurance and Quality Control programs of Halal Meat Products,
  • Support daily quality inspections throughout the production process.
  • Perform routine laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
  • Conduct basic microbiological and chemical testing according to standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor production activities to ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
  • Verify compliance with HACCP, GMP, sanitation, and Halal requirements.
  • Record, analyze, and maintain laboratory test results and quality documentation.
  • Assist in investigating non-conforming products and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Participate in internal quality audits and prepare documentation for external inspections.
  • Monitor cleaning and sanitation activities across production areas in Halal Meat Products Manufaccturing.
  • Ensure calibration records, quality logs, and inspection reports are accurately maintained.
  • Assist in supplier quality verification and raw material inspections.
  • Report quality issues promptly to the Compliance Supervisor and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure testing materials are properly stored.
  • Follow company health, safety, environmental, and food safety policies at all times.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related science field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in food manufacturing, food processing, or FMCG (internships and fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
  • Basic understanding of HACCP, GMP, Food Safety Management Systems, and quality assurance principles.
  • Knowledge of laboratory procedures and microbiological testing is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Halal food manufacturing standards is preferred.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented production environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Preferred Skills

Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

Understanding of ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, or BRCGS Food Safety standards.

Knowledge of food hygiene regulations and quality control procedures.

Ability to interpret laboratory test results and quality reports.

Good time management and organizational skills.

Willingness to work in a fast-paced food production environment.
