Job Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related science discipline
- Master’s Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or relevant specialization is an added advantage
- Freshers are welcome to apply
- Up to 3 years of experience in FMCG, snack food manufacturing, potato chips production, namkeen manufacturing, frying operations, or related food processing industries
- Experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Food Safety, HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000, or BRC standards is preferred
Job Responsibilities
Quality Assurance and Production Monitoring
- Monitor snack production and frying operations to ensure consistent product quality and adherence to food safety standards
- Evaluate frying parameters, oil quality, product texture, appearance, taste, and overall product consistency in real time
- Identify quality deviations and coordinate corrective actions with production teams
Raw Material, Packaging Material, and Finished Product Inspection
- Conduct routine sampling, testing, and quality evaluation of Raw Materials (RM), Packing Materials (PM), and Finished Goods (FG)
- Verify compliance with product specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements
- Ensure only approved materials and products are released for production and distribution
Food Safety and Compliance Management
- Monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs) and Operational Prerequisite Programs (OPRPs) as part of the food safety management system
- Escalate deviations and non-conformities immediately and support corrective and preventive action implementation
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, GHP, FSSC 22000, BRCGS, and company food safety requirements
Documentation and Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate quality assurance records, inspection reports, testing logs, and production quality documentation
- Ensure all quality records are audit-ready and comply with regulatory and certification requirements
- Support document control activities and continuous improvement initiatives
Audit Support
- Assist during internal audits, customer audits, supplier audits, and third-party certification audits
- Participate in audit preparation, corrective action implementation, and compliance verification activities
Complaint Investigation and Continuous Improvement
- Investigate customer complaints and product quality issues
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and prepare Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) reports
- Support continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing product quality, food safety, and operational efficiency
Training and Employee Awareness
- Conduct GMP, personal hygiene, sanitation, and food safety training sessions for plant employees
- Promote a strong food safety culture across manufacturing operations
- Support employee awareness programs related to quality and regulatory compliance
Candidate Profile
- Experience in snack foods, potato chips, namkeens, extruded snacks, or food manufacturing environments is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of Quality Assurance, Food Safety, HACCP, GMP, CCP monitoring, and food manufacturing processes
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Good communication, teamwork, and coordination abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
