QC Executive to join a leading Café & Bakery Quality Assurance team in Navi Mumbai. This exciting opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in quality assurance, food safety, café, bakery, QSR, or hospitality operations who are passionate about maintaining the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.

As a QC/QA Executive, you will be responsible for conducting quality audits across multiple store locations, ensuring compliance with FSSAI regulations, HACCP principles, and food safety standards, monitoring product quality and consistency, training store teams, investigating customer complaints, and implementing continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine quality assurance and food safety audits across all café and bakery outlets.
  • Ensure compliance with FSSAI regulations, HACCP principles, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Hygiene Practices (GHP), and company quality standards.
  • Monitor product quality, taste, texture, appearance, freshness, portion control, and presentation to ensure consistency across all stores.
  • Verify adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for food preparation, storage, cleaning, sanitation, and service.
  • Train store employees on food hygiene, sanitation, quality assurance procedures, and operational best practices.
  • Perform regular inspections of food handling, storage conditions, temperature monitoring, and inventory management.
  • Investigate customer complaints related to food quality and safety by conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
  • Monitor equipment maintenance, calibration, and cleanliness to ensure operational efficiency and food safety compliance.
  • Prepare audit reports, quality checklists, inspection records, and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate with store managers and operations teams to resolve quality issues promptly.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and hygiene policies at all times.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Nutrition, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Café Operations, Bakery Production, Quick Service Restaurants (QSR), Hospitality, or Food Manufacturing.
  • Practical knowledge of FSSAI regulations, HACCP, GMP, GHP, food hygiene, and food safety management systems.
  • Experience conducting quality audits and food safety inspections.
  • Strong understanding of bakery products, desserts, food handling, and quality control procedures.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across all Mumbai store locations.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in multi-store café, bakery, or QSR operations.
  • Knowledge of ISO 22000, FSMS, or internal audit practices is an advantage.
  • Ability to conduct employee training and quality awareness programs.
  • Strong observation and reporting skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
