As a Vendor Quality Assurance Executive, you will play a critical role in ensuring that food products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance throughout the production and supply chain process. The role offers hands-on exposure to food processing, quality management systems, GMP implementation, supplier quality assurance, and food safety compliance.

Job Responsibilities

Food Safety & Quality Compliance

  • Ensure all kitchen and food production operations comply with established food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
  • Monitor compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Hygiene Practices (GHP), HACCP requirements, and internal quality systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections to verify adherence to food safety protocols.

SOP Management

  • Maintain, review, update, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across various operational departments.
  • Ensure all team members follow approved procedures and quality standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for process standardization.

Quality Inspection & Monitoring

  • Perform routine quality inspections at every stage of the production process, including:
    • Raw material receiving
    • Ingredient storage
    • Food processing
    • Product packing
    • Finished goods dispatch
  • Verify product specifications, quality parameters, and packaging standards.
  • Identify deviations and recommend corrective actions.

Training & Awareness

  • Conduct training sessions for employees on:
    • Food safety practices
    • Personal hygiene requirements
    • GMP and sanitation standards
    • Safe food handling procedures
    • Quality control checkpoints
  • Promote a strong food safety and quality culture within operations.

Documentation & CAPA Management

  • Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.
  • Track non-conformities, customer complaints, and quality deviations.
  • Support the implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to prevent recurring issues.
  • Prepare reports for management review and audits.

Vendor & Supplier Quality Support

  • Assist in monitoring vendor compliance with quality requirements.
  • Participate in supplier quality evaluations and audits when required.
  • Coordinate with procurement and operations teams to ensure quality standards are consistently maintained.

Job Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Dairy Technology, Nutrition, or a related field.
  • Freshers are encouraged to apply.
  • Basic understanding of food safety regulations and quality management systems.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, GHP, ISO 22000, and food hygiene practices is an advantage.
  • Strong observation and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced food production environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
