Food Quality & Hygiene Officer wanted for a leading restaurant chain in Dubai, UAE. Food Quality Hygiene officer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust food safety management systems, ensuring compliance with HACCP, ISO 22000, and UAE regulatory requirements. This role is ideal for professionals with strong auditing skills, attention to detail, and hands-on experience in multi-unit food operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Implement, monitor, and maintain HACCP-based food safety management systems across central kitchen, catering operations, B2B production, and all café outlets
  • Ensure full compliance with ISO 22000 Food Safety Management Systems and internal quality standards
  • Conduct routine internal audits, hygiene inspections, and food safety assessments across all locations
  • Identify non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to maintain compliance.
  • Maintain and update food safety documentation, including SOPs, logs, records, and audit reports
  • Coordinate and support external audits, municipality inspections, and certification processes
  • Monitor hygiene, sanitation, cleaning schedules, and pest control programs to ensure high standards are consistently met
  • Deliver food safety and hygiene training sessions to staff and promote awareness of best practices
  • Work closely with production, operations, and management teams to ensure consistent product quality and safety
  • Ensure compliance with UAE food safety regulations and applicable international standards
  • Conduct supplier and raw material quality checks where required
  • Monitor personal hygiene practices and operational discipline across all units

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field
  • HACCP Certification is mandatory
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 22000, GMP, and food safety management systems
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in food manufacturing, bakery production, central kitchens, or multi-unit F&B operations
  • Good understanding of UAE food safety regulations and municipality requirements
  • Experience in conducting audits, inspections, and handling regulatory compliance
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and analytical skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to identify risks and implement improvements
  • Good communication and training skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple locations or operations
