Premium Coffee Manufacturers in Bengaluru, India is looking for a Quality Executive to join its Quality Assurance team at its manufacturing facility in Jigani, Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality, food safety, laboratory testing, regulatory compliance, and adherence to Quality Management Systems throughout the manufacturing process.
This role is ideal for professionals with experience in food quality control, laboratory testing, and food safety standards within the coffee, dairy, or food processing industry.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform quality testing of coffee, dairy products, water, and packaging materials.
- Conduct routine physical, chemical, and microbiological quality checks as per established procedures.
- Monitor production processes and perform in-process quality inspections to ensure product consistency.
- Identify quality deviations and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, testing records, calibration logs, and quality documentation.
- Prepare and update quality reports, inspection records, and laboratory documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) regulations.
- Support implementation and maintenance of BRCGS Food Safety standards and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Participate in internal audits, supplier quality evaluations, and customer audits.
- Conduct shelf-life studies and stability testing for finished products.
- Monitor Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Hygiene Practices (GHP), and sanitation standards.
- Assist in food safety awareness programs and GMP training for production employees.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to maintain quality standards.
- Ensure all testing activities comply with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Dairy Technology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- 2–4 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within the food manufacturing industry.
- Experience in coffee, dairy, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing is preferred.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality systems.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of FSSAI regulations.
- Experience with BRCGS Food Safety standards.
- Understanding of ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, and Quality Management Systems.
- Laboratory testing and analytical skills.
