Microbiologist

A compliance and quality systems Industry in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Microbiologist with the following with strong expertise in microbiological testing, laboratory quality control, and ISO compliance standards who are seeking career growth in a dynamic and regulated environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced microbiological testing on various samples including food, water, environmental, and industrial samples (as applicable).
• Conduct sample preparation, culture media preparation, sterilization, incubation, and microbial identification procedures.
• Carry out microbial enumeration, pathogen detection, and contamination analysis using standard laboratory methods.

• Ensure strict adherence to ISO standards, quality management systems, and laboratory SOPs.
• Maintain accurate documentation, test records, and laboratory reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor laboratory hygiene, contamination control, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Support internal and external audits related to ISO compliance and quality assurance.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment as per standard operating procedures.
• Prepare detailed microbiological reports and communicate findings to the management team.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Microbiology or a related life sciences field.
• Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in a microbiology laboratory environment.
• Strong knowledge of microbiological analysis, culture techniques, and laboratory safety procedures.
• Hands-on experience in sample analysis, microbial culture preparation, and laboratory documentation.
