Bakery QA Officer – Abu Dhabi

Hiring a qualified Food Bakery Quality Assurance (QA) Officer to join a leading Food Manufacturing Company in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining food safety standards, ensuring product quality compliance, supporting certification requirements, and improving overall quality management systems within the organization.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in the Food Manufacturing or FMCG industry who possess strong knowledge of Food Technology, HACCP, ISO 22000, food safety systems, quality assurance procedures, product specifications, and regulatory compliance.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and update product specifications for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished food products.
• Ensure all product specifications comply with ISO 22000, HACCP requirements, UAE food safety regulations, and company quality standards.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, research & development (R&D), and warehouse departments to verify product information and ensure specification accuracy.
• Monitor and maintain food safety and quality management systems within the manufacturing facility.
• Follow up with external and internal laboratories for microbiological, chemical, and shelf-life testing of products.
• Support product validation, quality verification, and compliance documentation activities.
• Assist in internal audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives related to food safety and quality assurance.

• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, records, and quality files as per company and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), hygiene standards, and food safety procedures across production operations.
• Identify quality issues, non-conformities, and potential food safety risks and report findings to the Quality Manager.
• Prepare regular QA reports and communicate progress updates to management.
• Support certification audits and inspections related to ISO 22000, HACCP, and food safety standards.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the Food Manufacturing or FMCG industry within the UAStrong understanding of HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS), and Quality Assurance procedures.
• Experience in documentation control, specification management, and food quality compliance.
• Internal Auditor certification for ISO 22000 or HACCP is an added advantage.
