A leading bakery and food manufacturing organization in Ernakulam, Kerala is hiring Inline QA Executives to join its Quality Assurance Department. The selected candidates will be responsible for monitoring quality and food safety throughout the production process, from raw material inspection and in-process controls to finished product evaluation. Job Responsibilities

As an Inline QA Executive, your responsibilities may include:

  • Monitor the quality and safety of raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials, in-process products, and finished bakery products.
  • Conduct routine in-process quality checks throughout bakery and food production operations.
  • Ensure production activities are carried out according to approved quality standards, food safety procedures, SOPs, and company policies.
  • Monitor critical quality parameters during different stages of production.
  • Identify quality deviations, non-conformities, contamination risks, and other potential food safety issues.
  • Communicate quality-related observations and deviations to the relevant production and QA personnel.
  • Support investigations into quality complaints, process deviations, and non-conforming products.
  • Maintain accurate quality assurance records, inspection reports, checklists, and production documentation.
  • Verify compliance with applicable FSSAI, ISO, HACCP, GMP, hygiene, and food safety requirements, as applicable to the organization.
  • Monitor employee adherence to personal hygiene, food handling, sanitation, and good manufacturing practices.
  • Assist in monitoring cleaning and sanitation activities within production areas.
  • Support the QA team during internal inspections, audits, and regulatory assessments.
  • Ensure proper identification, segregation, and documentation of rejected or non-conforming materials and products.
  • Assist with sampling and routine quality checks as required.
  • Work closely with production and other departments to resolve quality issues.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving product quality, food safety, and production efficiency.
  • Escalate significant food safety or quality concerns to the appropriate supervisor or QA management.

Job Qualifications

Candidates should preferably have:

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Food Science
  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Food Technology
  • Degree in Food Safety, Microbiology, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, or another relevant food-related discipline may also be considered.
  • Candidates with relevant academic knowledge of food safety, quality assurance, HACCP, GMP, microbiology, food processing, and quality control are encouraged to apply.
