A leading e-commerce, quick commerce, food delivery, and cloud kitchen company in Dubai, UAE is hiring an experienced Quality Control Supervisor to oversee food safety, quality assurance, HACCP compliance, and operational hygiene across food production and packaging operations. The company operates within the online grocery, food technology, retail fulfillment, and food manufacturing industry, serving high-volume customer orders through advanced distribution and fulfillment centers.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in food safety management systems, Dubai Municipality regulations, HACCP implementation, GMP compliance, allergen management, and quality inspections within a fast-paced food production environment.
The Quality Control Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring food quality standards throughout the entire production process, ensuring compliance with HACCP principles, Dubai Municipality food safety regulations, and company SOPs. The role involves conducting inspections, monitoring CCPs, performing sanitation audits, managing documentation, and supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives.
The candidate will work closely with production teams, warehouse staff, suppliers, and food safety personnel to ensure product consistency, customer safety, and regulatory compliance.
Job Responsibilities
Production Quality Monitoring
- Conduct systematic quality inspections at every stage of production including ingredient receiving, food preparation, assembly, packaging, labeling, and dispatch.
- Verify that all finished products meet established quality standards, recipe specifications, and SOP requirements.
- Monitor food appearance, texture, temperature, packaging integrity, portion consistency, and shelf-life requirements.
- Ensure operational compliance with GMP, food hygiene, and sanitation standards across production facilities.
Raw Material & Supplier Quality Control
- Inspect incoming raw materials and ingredients for freshness, contamination risks, temperature compliance, and supplier specification adherence.
- Conduct supplier quality evaluations and ingredient quality assessments to maintain approved supplier standards.
- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams regarding rejected or non-conforming materials.
- Monitor storage conditions including chilled, frozen, and dry storage areas.
HACCP & Food Safety Compliance
- Monitor and document Critical Control Points (CCPs) including temperature logs, cooling times, metal detection records, and food handling procedures.
- Implement and maintain HACCP-based food safety systems across production processes.
- Conduct allergen control audits to prevent cross-contamination between products.
- Ensure proper allergen segregation, labeling accuracy, and cleaning validation procedures.
- Support internal food safety audits and corrective action implementation.
Sanitation & Hygiene Audits
- Conduct daily sanitation inspections of production areas, food contact surfaces, equipment, utensils, and employee hygiene practices.
- Ensure cleaning and sanitation procedures are performed according to food safety protocols.
- Monitor pest control compliance and hygiene standards throughout the facility.
- Report sanitation non-conformities and ensure timely corrective actions.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain quality control records, HACCP documentation, traceability logs, inspection reports, and corrective action records.
- Prepare quality trend reports and provide improvement recommendations to management.
- Document quality deviations, root cause analysis findings, and preventive actions.
- Monitor expiration date accuracy, batch coding, and product traceability systems.
Training & Team Support
- Train production staff on food safety standards, quality control procedures, personal hygiene, portion control, and proper food handling techniques.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to food quality and operational efficiency.
- Assist in developing SOPs and quality monitoring procedures.
- Liaise with Dubai Municipality inspectors during facility audits and inspections.

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in food manufacturing, cloud kitchen, catering, retail FMCG, or food production quality control.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, food hygiene, allergen management, and food safety systems.
- Prior experience handling Dubai Municipality inspections and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume food production environment.
Food Quality Cntroller Dubai- Certifications
- Dubai Municipality Food Safety Training Certification (Level 2 or higher).
- HACCP Certification (mandatory).
- Prior Municipality food safety compliance experience preferred.
- Training in allergen management and cross-contamination prevention.
- Culinary training or food science background will be an advantage.
