BRCGS Food Safety Lead Auditor wanted at a leading Food Safety Consultancy and Training Centre in Dubai, UAE. BRCGS Food Safety Lead Auditor with extensive experience in food safety auditing, HACCP implementation, and certification processes within the GCC food industry.
This role is ideal for professionals looking to advance their careers in food safety compliance, third-party audits, and international certification standards. An Industry with food safety certification, sustainability, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance, supporting businesses in achieving international standards such as BRCGS, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, and HACCP.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct third-party audits against BRCGS Food Safety Standards across food manufacturing and processing facilities
- Plan, schedule, and execute food safety audits in line with ISO 19011 auditing guidelines
- Evaluate and verify Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) including:
- HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point)
- GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
- ISO 22000 & FSSC 22000
- BRCGS Global Standards
- Identify non-conformities, audit findings, and compliance gaps, and prepare detailed audit reports
- Provide value-added audit insights to improve food safety systems and operational performance
- Follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to ensure closure of audit findings
- Ensure compliance with ISO 17021 certification requirements and regulatory frameworks
- Support technical reviews and certification decision processes
- Maintain audit documentation, records, and ensure adherence to data integrity and audit trail standards
- Deliver professional communication with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and audit quality
Job Qualifications
- Certified BRCGS Lead Auditor (Mandatory)
- Lead Auditor certification in ISO 22000 / FSMS / Food Safety Standards
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in food safety auditing, preferably within the GCC region (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, etc.)
