A well-established food packaging and manufacturing company in Dubai Investment City (DIC) is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Food Quality Officer. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Quality Control, Food Safety, QHSE compliance, HACCP, and ISO standards, with mandatory Arabic language proficiency.

This role is critical in ensuring that all food packaging processes meet UAE regulatory requirements, international food safety standards, and internal quality benchmarks.

Job Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor Food Quality Control procedures across production and packaging operations.
  • Ensure full compliance with HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, and UAE Food Safety regulations.
  • Conduct routine quality inspections, internal audits, and process verifications.
  • Monitor raw materials, packaging materials, in-process checks, and finished product quality.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for QHSE records, batch reports, deviation reports, and corrective actions.
  • Identify non-conformities and initiate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
  • Support external audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Ensure adherence to Health & Safety standards within the production facility.
  • Provide food safety and hygiene training to production and warehouse teams.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and warehouse departments to maintain quality standards.

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Food Quality Officer / Quality Control Officer in the food packaging or food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of QHSE systems and Health & Safety regulations.
  • In-depth understanding of Food Safety Standards, HACCP principles, ISO standards, and GMP practices.
  • Certification in HACCP and ISO (mandatory).
  • Arabic speaker (Mandatory).
  • Excellent documentation, reporting, and audit-handling skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced food production environment.
