Honey Manufacturing and Processing Company in Dubai, UAE, is seeking a Quality Controller to ensure that all raw materials, in-process products, and finished honey products meet internal quality standards, UAE food safety regulations, and international compliance requirements. The role involves laboratory testing, process monitoring, documentation control, audit support, and cross-functional coordination with production and warehouse teams.
Job Responsibilities
Raw Material & Packaging Inspection
- Inspect and test incoming raw honey, additives, and packaging materials
- Perform laboratory analysis to verify honey quality parameters
- Ensure materials comply with internal specifications and food safety standards
- Approve or reject materials based on quality evaluation
Monitor critical processing stages including:
- Honey filtration
- Controlled heating
- Blending and homogenization
- Filling and packaging
Conduct in-process checks to ensure product consistency and food safety complianceVerify adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)Support internal, external, and regulatory auditsCoordinate with Production, Warehouse, and Procurement teams to maintain quality standardsAssist in continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure product labeling and traceability compliance of Honey Products.
- Perform final product testing before batch release
- Approve product release based on QC standards
- Conduct honey quality analysis including:
- Moisture content testing
- HMF (Hydroxymethylfurfural) analysis
- Adulteration testing
- Sensory and physical checks
Job Qualiifations
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in:Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology Or related field,
2–5 years of experience in Quality Control within food manufacturing. Strong understanding of food safety standards and laboratory testing procedures. Hands-on experience with honey quality parameters is highly preferred. Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills. UAE Food Quality Control experience preferred.
