QA Executive – Freshers

A Food processing and manufacturing industry, in Kerala, India is inviting applications for the position of Quality Assurance (QA) Executive. This is a great opportunity for female freshers with a background in Food Technology to begin their career in food safety, quality management, and regulatory compliance..

Job Responsibilities

• Assisting in the implementation and monitoring of HACCP standards across all production areas.
• Supporting the quality control team in conducting inspections of raw materials, in-process checks, and finished product evaluation.
• Preparing and maintaining quality documentation, reports, and compliance records as per company and regulatory requirements.
• Conducting basic internal audits and reporting deviations for corrective actions.
• Assisting in staff training sessions to promote awareness of hygiene, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and food safety protocols.
• Coordinating with production and quality teams to ensure smooth implementation of food safety systems.
• Supporting the QA Manager in routine quality checks, risk assessments, and customer requirement documentation.

Job Qualification

• Educational Qualification: B.Tech / M.Sc in Food Technology (mandatory).
• Certification: HACCP Level 3 Certificate (mandatory).
• Additional certifications in Food Safety, GMP, ISO 22000, or Quality Management Systems will be an added advantage.
• Preference will be given to candidates from Kollam district for ease of commuting.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and staff.
• Knowledge of documentation, record-keeping, and report preparation.
• Ability to deliver staff training sessions on hygiene and food safety practices.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
