A Flight Catering company in Tamil Nadu , India is looking for a Quality Executive for Food Quality assurance Department with the following:

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with food safety standards such as FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, and airline catering quality protocols.
  • Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, food preparation areas, storage, and dispatch units in the flight catering facility.
  • Perform microbiological and chemical testing of food samples, water, and swab samples to maintain hygiene and safety.
  • Implement and supervise CCPs (Critical Control Points) in the food production line as per HACCP guidelines.
  • Maintain proper documentation of quality checks, food safety audits, temperature logs, and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with production, hygiene, and packing teams to resolve quality issues and ensure timely delivery of airline meals.
  • Train staff on personal hygiene, food handling practices, sanitation, and cross-contamination prevention.
  • Report non-conformities and propose corrective/preventive actions to the Quality Manager.

Job Qualifications

  • Postgraduate degree in Microbiology/Food Technology/Food & Nutrition.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in food manufacturing, catering, or hospitality (flight catering preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and microbiological testing.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to handle pressure, work in fast-paced environments, and support operational teams.
