The Quality Controller Trainee will support the Quality Assurance and Food Safety team in monitoring production processes, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. The role involves hands-on exposure to quality checks, documentation, and GMP practices in a food manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring quality control activities at all stages of food production, including raw materials, processing, packaging, and storage
- Support routine inspection and sampling of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods as per quality standards
- Help ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, GMP, and sanitation requirements within the production area
- Assist in conducting basic quality checks such as visual inspection, weight checks, labeling verification, and packaging integrity checks
- Maintain and update quality control records, logs, and checklists accurately under supervision
- Report any quality deviations, defects, or non-conformities to the Quality Supervisor or QA team
- Support implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company quality policies
- Participate in cleaning verification and hygiene monitoring of equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Assist during internal audits, inspections, and quality reviews
- Help in monitoring personal hygiene practices of production staff.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and identification of raw materials and finished products
- Follow food safety, workplace safety, and company rules at all times
- Actively learn and gain hands-on experience in quality control systems and food manufacturing processes

- BSc Food Technology / BVoc Food Technology (Mandatory)
