A Meal Planning producing Comapny in Dubai, UAE is hiring a Quality Controller with the following:

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet established quality standards.
  • Monitor and document production processes to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, tests, and other quality-related activities.
  • Prepare and review reports on quality metrics and performance.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, including HACCP, GMP, and other relevant standards.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, helping to prepare necessary documentation and implement corrective actions.
  • Identify areas for improvement in production processes and quality control procedures.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
  • Provide training to production staff on quality control processes and procedures.
  • Support the QA team in investigating customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as production, purchasing, and R&D, to resolve quality issues.
  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of new quality initiatives and projects.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or certification in food science, HACCP Level 3.
  • Previous experience in a quality control or quality assurance role within the food industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
  • Work is performed in a production environment, which may include exposure to noise, temperature variations, and raw food materials.
  • The position may require standing for extended periods and flexible timings.
