Quality Controller wanted for a Drinking water company in Ajamn, UAE .. This role is critical in ensuring that all water production processes meet strict quality, safety, and regulatory standards, delivering safe and high-quality drinking water to our customers.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control all stages of the drinking water production process, including raw water treatment, filtration, bottling, and packaging operations.
  • Conduct routine physical, chemical, and microbiological testing of water samples to ensure compliance with UAE standards and international guidelines.
  • Perform regular inspections of production lines, storage tanks, pipelines, and packaging materials to maintain hygiene and product integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO standards, and UAE regulatory requirements related to bottled drinking water.
  • Identify quality deviations, investigate root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve quality-related issues efficiently.
  • Maintain detailed quality records, laboratory reports, and audit documentation for internal and external inspections.
  • Support internal and external audits, including municipality inspections and certification audits.
  • Continuously review and improve quality control procedures and systems to enhance operational efficiency and product safety.
  • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards across the facility.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Technology, or a related scientific field.
  • Proven experience in the drinking water or bottled water industry in the UAE is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of water quality standards, laboratory testing methods, and treatment processes.
  • Familiarity with HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, and UAE drinking water regulations.
  • Experience in handling laboratory equipment and water analysis techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation and work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
