A Foodstuff Trading and Manufacturing Company in Dubai UAE is looking for a Quality Control Officer with the following : ,

Job Responsibilities

  • Quality & Hygiene Checks:
    Perform routine inspections of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products to ensure compliance with internal quality and hygiene standards.
  • Process Monitoring:
    Continuously monitor production processes to ensure adherence to HACCP, GMP, and food safety protocols, especially during night operations.
  • Stock Monitoring:
    Track and record inventory movement and stock levels within the production unit to support seamless production flow.
  • Workforce Supervision:
    Observe worker practices and provide immediate corrective feedback on any unsafe behavior, poor hygiene, or quality lapses.
  • Label Verification:
    Ensure that all products are labeled accurately according to the packaging specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Issue Escalation:
    Immediately report any quality deviations, product non-conformities, or equipment concerns to the Production Supervisor or QA Manager.
  • Documentation:
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality checks, deviations, corrective actions, and stock logs for audit and traceability purposes.
  • Audit Support:
    Assist in preparing for internal and external food safety or customer audits by providing necessary records and compliance evidence.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Food Science, Microbiology, Food Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience:
    Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in a Quality Control or Food Safety role, preferably in the fresh food, dairy, egg, or meat processing industry.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    Sound understanding of food safety standards such as HACCP, GMP, and hygiene control in food production environments.
  • Attention to Detail:
    Strong observational and analytical skills to identify inconsistencies or non-compliances in production and labeling.
  • Communication Skills:
    Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with production teams and supervisors, especially regarding quality concerns.
  • Computer Literacy:
    Basic proficiency in using computers for data entry, report generation, and maintaining records.
  • Shift Readiness:
    Must be physically fit and available to work full-time night shifts, including weekends and public holidays, if required.
  • Familiarity with UAE food safety regulations.Able to work independently with minimal supervision during late hours.
