Job Description

As QC & QA Officer at our Abu Dhabi chocolate production facility, you will be the primary owner of food safety, hygiene compliance, and product quality assurance. You will work across raw material intake, in-process monitoring, and finished goods inspection — ensuring every product that leaves our facility is safe, consistent, and fully compliant with UAE food regulations and international standards.

Job responsibilities

  • Implement, manage, and continuously improve the HACCP system; monitor and document all Critical Control Points (CCPs)
  • Plan and conduct ISO internal audits; coordinate and prepare for third-party and customer audits
  • Carry out daily GMP and hygiene inspections across production, storage, and dispatch areas
  • Inspect and approve incoming raw materials, packaging, and ingredients against defined specifications
  • Monitor in-process quality checks and conduct final inspection of finished chocolate products
  • Identify, quarantine, and manage non-conforming products; lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Maintain complete and audit-ready quality records, logs, and compliance reports
  • Deliver food safety and hygiene training to production staff on a regular basis

Job Requirements

  • HACCP Level 3 CertificationMandatory
  • University degree in food science, food technology, nutrition, or a closely related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a food manufacturing QC/QA role — bakery or confectionery experience preferred
  • Solid working knowledge of ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, or equivalent food safety management systems
  • Strong understanding of GMP standards, hygiene regulations, and UAE food safety legislation
  • Proficient in quality documentation, reporting, and record management
