Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector – Food Manufacturing oppurtunity for a food production team in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining food safety, product quality, and regulatory compliance within the manufacturing facility. This role requires strong expertise in food safety standards, quality assurance systems, and HSE practices to ensure that all operations comply with Dubai Municipality regulations, international food safety standards, and internal quality management systems.

Salary: AED 8,000

The QA Inspector will conduct inspections, perform internal audits, manage documentation, and support the implementation of HACCP, FSSC, BRC, and ISO-based food safety management systems while promoting a strong culture of food safety and workplace safety.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine quality inspections and food safety checks across raw material receiving, production, processing, packaging, and storage areas to ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality food safety regulations and Civil Defense safety requirements.
  • Perform internal audits of food manufacturing processes in accordance with FSSC 22000, BRCGS, ISO 9001, and HACCP standards, identifying gaps and recommending corrective actions.
  • Monitor and verify the effectiveness of food safety management systems, ensuring that production processes comply with established quality assurance and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and update food safety documentation, quality records, HSE reports, and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) reports to support audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
  • Inspect workplace safety conditions to ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards, including monitoring PPE usage, hygiene practices, and employee safety procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with first aid and emergency response requirements, coordinating with safety teams to maintain safe working conditions within the facility.
  • Conduct food safety awareness training, employee inductions, and safety toolbox talks to improve staff understanding of hygiene practices, food safety procedures, and workplace safety protocols.
  • Support regulatory inspections and third-party audits, ensuring the facility remains compliant with local food safety regulations and international food quality standards.
  • Work closely with production, maintenance, and management teams to identify food safety risks, implement corrective actions, and improve product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Assist in strengthening the company’s continuous improvement initiatives related to quality management, food safety culture, and operational excellence.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of GCC experience in Quality Assurance (QA), Food Safety, or Quality Control roles within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety management systems, regulatory compliance, and international quality standards applicable to food processing facilities.
  • Professional certifications required:
    • Advanced Food Hygiene – Level 4
    • HACCP Level 3 Certification
    • PIC Level 3 (Person in Charge Certification)
    • IRCA-accredited Lead Auditor Certification (for ISO or food safety standards)
  • Good understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) practices, workplace risk assessment, and safety compliance in food manufacturing environments.
  • Experience in conducting internal audits, managing CAPA systems, and maintaining food safety documentation.
  • Strong communication and training skills with the ability to conduct food safety training sessions and staff awareness programs.
  • Valid UAE driving license is required.
  • A degree or diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field will be considered an advantage.
