Hospitality Group in Dubai UAE is recruiting a Hygiene Officer to work in a Hospitality Group and Hotel Management with the following:

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor and ensure that all hotel areas comply with local health and safety regulations, hotel policies, and industry standards.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee effective cleaning and sanitation procedures for guest rooms, kitchens, public areas, and staff facilities.
  • Conduct regular hygiene inspections across all hotel departments, identifying any areas that need improvement and ensuring corrective actions are taken immediately.
  • Train hotel staff on hygiene standards, cleaning procedures, and the proper use of cleaning products and equipment. Ensure all staff understand the importance of hygiene in maintaining guest satisfaction and health safety.
  • Ensure proper stock levels of cleaning materials, sanitizers, and hygiene-related equipment. Monitor usage and report any discrepancies or shortages to management.
  • Oversee waste disposal processes, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and promoting sustainable practices.
  • Assist in the creation and enforcement of health and safety protocols in the hotel, particularly in relation to the prevention of contamination and the spread of illness.
  • Maintain records of hygiene inspections, training sessions, cleaning schedules, and any incidents related to hygiene violations or health hazards.
  • Address any hygiene-related concerns raised by guests or staff promptly and professionally. Handle any guest complaints related to cleanliness or sanitation effectively.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Hospitality’s proper documentation for compliance purposes, including maintaining up-to-date reports on cleaning audits, equipment checks, and regulatory compliance.

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar hygiene or cleaning management role, ideally in a hotel or restaurant,.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and environmental health policies effective in a Hospitality Group.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify areas that require improvement.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously for Hospitality Group and Hotel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with hotel staff and guests.
  • Ability to train and motivate staff to adhere to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety protocols.
