Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver High-Quality Training Sessions: Conduct engaging and informative Food Safety and HACCP training sessions through both online platforms and in-person classes. Ensure that the delivery is clear, interactive, and aligned with the latest industry requirements.
  • Food Safety Trainers Develop Training Materials: Prepare comprehensive training modules, lesson plans, presentations, assessments, and case studies that reflect the latest developments in food safety regulations, FSSAI guidelines, and HACCP principles.
  • Evaluate Learner Progress: Assess trainee performance through quizzes, assignments, practical exercises, and live evaluations. Provide individualized feedback to help learners improve their understanding and skills.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with global and Indian food safety regulations, including FSSAI standards, Codex guidelines, HACCP systems, and Good Hygiene Practices (GHP). Integrate regulatory compliance into all training modules.
  • Maintain Documentation: Record attendance, assessment results, certification details, and other essential data in a structured and accurate manner. Ensure proper documentation aligned with audit and certification requirements.
  • Enhance Training Quality: Continuously review, enhance, and update training content in collaboration with the internal academic team. Integrate real-world examples, case studies, and practical insights to improve learning outcomes.
  • Promote Food Safety Culture: Inspire learners to adopt strong food hygiene practices, maintain high workplace standards, and comply with local and international safety norms.

Job Qualifications – Food Safety Trainers

  • Mandatory HACCP and Food Safety Certifications from a recognized organization.
  • Preferred Qualification: TSI Quality Services L.L.C S.O.C Certified Food Safety Trainers – candidates with this accreditation will be given priority.
  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience in food safety, quality assurance, food technology, hospitality, or a related field. Experience in training or education is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse learners.
  • Fluency in English, Malayalam, and Tamil to deliver training effectively across Kerala and multilingual learner groups.
  • Strong understanding of food hygiene principles, hazard control, risk assessment, CCP monitoring, and global food safety trends.
  • Ability to manage online training tools, virtual classrooms, and digital learning platforms.
  • Passion for teaching, mentoring, and contributing to the growth of the food safety profession in Kerala.
