Food Safety Auditor to join our expanding audit and certification team in the United Arab Emirates. This role is ideal for professionals with strong knowledge of ISO standards, HACCP principles, and food safety compliance frameworks.
Job Responsibilities
- Food Safety Auditor Conducts comprehensive ISO 22000:2018 audits at client facilities to assess compliance with international food safety management standards.
- Review, verify, and validate HACCP plans, food safety documentation, prerequisites, and operational controls.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented food safety systems and identify gaps or non-conformities.
- Prepare detailed, accurate, and timely audit reports, including observations, corrective actions, and improvement recommendations.
- Communicate audit findings to clients professionally and guide them on addressing non-conformities.
Certifications – Food Safety Auditor
- Assist clients throughout the certification and recertification lifecycle, ensuring documentation readiness and compliance with BSCIC requirements.
- Support surveillance audits, follow-up assessments, and extension-of-scope audits as required.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with client organizations, ensuring transparency and high service quality.
- Conduct follow-up audits and verify the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Stay up-to-date with UAE food safety guidelines, ISO updates, and industry best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
Job Qualifications
- ISO 22000:2018 Lead Auditor Certification (strongly preferred).
- HACCP Level 5 or equivalent advanced food safety certification.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in food safety auditing, food manufacturing quality systems, or compliance roles.
- Prior experience with ISO-based auditing, documentation review, and certification processes is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of food safety management systems, risk assessments, and regulatory requirements within the UAE.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and analytical skills.
- Valid UAE driving license and willingness to travel to client locations across the region.
