A biotechnology organisation dedicated to transforming sustainable nutrition and wellness through advanced spirulina cultivation and nutraceutical innovation is hiring a Biotechnologist for their Tamil Nadu Location !

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct laboratory analysis related to spirulina cultivation, growth optimization, and harvesting processes
  • Perform and monitor fermentation and bioprocessing activities to enhance product quality and yield
  • Support PTC laboratory operations, including routine testing, documentation, and data analysis
  • Apply analytical and microbiological techniques to evaluate raw materials, in-process samples, and finished nutraceutical products.
  • Ensure strict compliance with GMP guidelines, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, calibration records, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Identify process deviations, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend corrective and preventive actions
  • Assist in product development, formulation improvement, and process scale-up activities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive continuous improvement, sustainability initiatives, and innovation
  • Prepare technical reports, laboratory records, and validation documentation as required.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills for data interpretation, troubleshooting, and process optimization
  • Hands-on laboratory skills, including operation and maintenance of biotechnology and microbiology equipment
  • Practical knowledge of fermentation techniques and bioprocessing methods
  • Solid understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory compliance in nutraceutical or food industries.

  • Proficiency in microbiology principles, including culture handling and contamination control
