Opportunities for a qualified and experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor in the leading Drinking water Industry in Ajman, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food or drinking water quality assurance, with proven expertise in implementing ISO 22000, HACCP, and related quality management systems. This role is critical to ensuring that all production processes comply with UAE regulatory standards and international quality benchmarks.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily quality assurance operations across the water production facility.
- Implement, monitor, and maintain compliance with ISO 22000, HACCP, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Conduct internal audits, inspections, and product testing to ensure adherence to safety and quality specifications.
- Investigate and resolve non-conformances, consumer complaints, and deviations, ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure that all drinking water products consistently meet company and regulatory quality and safety standards through strict monitoring and testing at every stage of production.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems, including ISO 22000 and HACCP, ensuring full compliance with internal, local, and international food safety standards.
- Supervise the daily activities of the quality assurance and quality control teams to guarantee the smooth execution of quality operations, from raw material inspection to final product release.
- Conduct routine plant inspections, hygiene audits, and process evaluations to ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and sanitation procedures across all departments.
- Perform regular sampling and laboratory testing of water at various processing stages to verify compliance with microbiological, physical, and chemical quality parameters.
Skills : Water – Quality Assurance Supervisor
- Monitor and validate the effectiveness of cleaning and sanitation programs, ensuring that all equipment and production areas meet hygiene and safety standards.
- Investigate quality deviations, customer complaints, and non-conformances by identifying root causes, preparing detailed reports, and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, and R&D departments to address process improvements, reduce wastage, and enhance overall product quality and efficiency.
- Review and approve product labels, packaging materials, and batch records to ensure accuracy and compliance with labeling and documentation standards.
- Ensure that all employees follow hygiene and safety protocols by conducting regular training sessions on quality procedures, food safety, and personal hygiene.

- Maintain updated documentation for quality assurance processes, test reports, and certifications in preparation for internal and external audits.
- Liaise with government authorities and certification bodies to ensure full compliance with UAE drinking water regulations and international standards.
- Track and analyze key quality metrics, providing management with performance reports and improvement recommendations to strengthen product consistency and brand reputation.
- Stay informed on the latest industry standards, food safety guidelines, and regulatory updates to continuously improve the company’s quality management practices.
- Collaborate with production, laboratory, and maintenance teams to drive continuous improvement in product quality and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory standards for bottled drinking water.
- Maintain detailed records of quality control activities, reports, and certifications for audits and inspections.
- Provide training and guidance to QA staff on hygiene, documentation, and process control requirements.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related discipline.
- 7–10 years of hands-on experience in food or drinking water production industry (bottled water experience preferred).
- Certified in ISO 22000, HACCP, and Quality Management Systems.
- Strong understanding of GMP, food safety regulations, and microbiological testing.
- Excellent leadership, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
