As a Trainer for QHSE & Food Safety, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality training programs to individuals and organizations in line with international standards. Your key responsibilities will include:
Job Responsibilities
- Training Delivery:
Conduct both public and in-house training sessions on topics related to Quality, Health, Safety, Environment (QHSE), and Food Safety. This includes tailored sessions based on client and industry-specific requirements. - Course Material Development:
Create, update, and customize training content, manuals, and workshops using the latest local and international guidelines and regulations, such as ISO standards, HACCP, and relevant food safety laws. - Client Support:
Work closely with client organizations to assess their training needs and provide expert recommendations on training programs that meet compliance, certification, and performance improvement goals. - Compliance and Standards:
Ensure that all training programs adhere to relevant accreditation bodies (e.g., IRCA, HABC), and follow updated international, regional, and local guidelines.
- Continuous Improvement:
Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and assessments. Implement improvements for content, delivery, and engagement. - Record-Keeping:
Maintain accurate training records, logs of training sessions delivered, and performance assessments of trainees. Support clients with documentation for audits and certifications. - Stakeholder Engagement:
Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, auditors, and certification bodies to coordinate training schedules and ensure high-quality delivery.
Job Qualifications
- Educational Background:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology, Veterinary Science, Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety (HSE), or other relevant science or technical fields.
- Professional Experience:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of training or technical experience with a relevant degree, OR
- Over 8 years of practical experience with a Diploma, preferably in the Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) industry or as a trainer in a recognized service provider.
- Certifications Required:
- Valid certification in relevant IRCA-accredited courses.
- Certified Trainer in HABC Level 4 for Food Safety and/or HACCP.
- Valid Audit/Training log or appointment proof with Certification Bodies (CB) or IRCA card.
- “Train the Trainer” certification is essential.
- Preferred:
- HSE-related certifications or training qualifications are a strong advantage.
Key Skills -Trainer
Expertise in training delivery and adult learning methodologies.
- Strong curriculum and instructional design skills.
- Exceptional presentation, facilitation, and communication skills (both oral and written).
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to engage with diverse learners and adapt teaching methods as needed.
