Senior Quality Control Specialist – Milk Powder Manufacturing UAE’s premier milk powder manufacturing companies, supplying high-quality dairy products to both the GCC region and international markets and is equipped with advanced production technology and adheres to the highest global standards in food safety, hygiene, and quality assurance. Seeking a highly experienced Senior Quality Control Specialist to join team and take a lead role in maintaining and enhancing our quality systems.
Responsibilities
- Quality Oversight:
Supervise and manage all quality control operations, including the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process batches, and finished milk powder products to ensure full compliance with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements. - Lab Testing & Evaluation:
Conduct and supervise a range of testing procedures, including microbiological, chemical, physical, and sensory evaluations. Coordinate with the QC laboratory to ensure accurate and timely testing results. - Documentation & SOPs:
Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality control protocols, sample testing procedures, inspection checklists, and detailed quality reporting systems.
- Process Monitoring & Audit:
Monitor key stages of production to identify deviations or contamination risks. Conduct internal audits, GMP inspections, and HACCP assessments to ensure continuous compliance. Support third-party and government audits as needed. - Issue Resolution:
Lead the investigation of quality-related issues and customer complaints. Perform root cause analysis and oversee the implementation and monitoring of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs). - Training & Leadership:
Train and mentor quality control staff and cross-functional team members on hygiene protocols, product sampling, testing procedures, and food safety standards. Promote a strong culture of quality and continuous improvement across departments.
Job Qualifications
- Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Technology, Microbiology, or a related field. - Experience:
Minimum of 8 years in quality control or assurance within the dairy, milk powder, or broader food manufacturing industry. - Technical Expertise:
In-depth knowledge of food safety and quality systems, including HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC/FSSC 22000, and GMP. Skilled in analytical techniques related to dairy products and milk powder.
